2015 NCAA Tournament All-Stars

1st Team All-Stars

Darnelle Peddie is a versatile G/F who has received numerous All Stars and MVP awards. Listed on HooptownGTA as one of the top players in his class. At the top of his game Darnelle is a triple double type of player who can do it all on the court. He is a solid defender as well.

Shakiel Pryce is an excellent student-athlete who was MVP of the Maroon & Black Challenge and was highlighted in an article on NPH. He was defensive captain and brought great energy to that part of the game. Shak is a good shooter with outstanding range.

Dammani Brown is a force to be reckon with on our Junior boys basketball team. His is very athletic which benefits him both offensively and defensively recording 3-4 blocks per game and also thrills the crowd with his dunking ability. He plays a strong inside game and is able to shoot with the best of them both inside and outside of paint. Damanni demonstrates excellent leadership skills and unselfish plays which makes him an outstanding athlete and individual.

A super quick guard  Matt Kiatipis often is defended by our opponent’s best defender.  Matt displays great court sense and an ability to anticipate where the rock needs to go.  Matt has the strength and quickness to take it to the hole and the skill to drain the three- pointer if needed.  A great defender with above average foot work makes Matt a difficult player to beat off the dribble.  Sacred Heart is more than delighted to have this very athletic baller has part of its program!

Josh Inkumsah's

A threat to score both in the post and outside of the arc, Joshua Inkumsah has proven to be a problem for opposing defenses in 2015-2016. Josh's unselfish passing ability has become a real asset on a St Joseph's squad that emphasized sharing the ball. As captain, Joshua was the 'glue' in a successful season at St Joe's. Josh was also named to the all-star team at the Campion Junior Showdown and was the MVP in GBSSA 'AAA' Championship game.

2nd Team NCAA All-Stars

Kenny Ngassoue  is a "do everything" small forward who does so many little things to make his team better. Whether it's rebounding, blocking shots, shooting the 3 or delivering emphatic dunks, Kenny impacts the game in so many ways. The sky is the limit for this young player.

Zachary Farray has developed into a strong team leader this year. He has outstanding range on his jump shot, and with his work ethic, has enhanced his ability to attack the basket. Through his hard work and dedication, he has become an excellent two way player, often guarding the opposing teams' top scorer. Zachary has been a privilege to coach the past two seasons.

Ben Maracle started playing basketball when he was 10. He played for the Lennox and Addington Guardsman for two years. He played for his elementary school team the Quinte Mohawk School Wolfpack for several years as well. He won MVP at Quinte Mohawk School two years in a row. Ben has been a part of the St Theresa Titans for two season now.

Shamar Forbes is a 15 year old guard from the big city Toronto. He is averaging over 20 points a gam by being aggressive and getting into the lane.  If you looked at him you wouldn't think he can shoot the ball but those are one of the things that also does well.  However, his best skills are being a leader on the court, being aggressive and getting to the foul line.
