2018 NCAA Tournament All-Stars

1st Team All-Stars

Tega Ajise is an outstanding person and player who is a pleasure to coach. He is a ferocious rebounder who leads by example and his tremendous work ethic inspires his teammates. Tega is able to attack the rim with devasting consistency and is a 3 point shot threat. His inside/outside game makes it very difficult to defend him. He has an explosive first step and has a extremely high basketball IQ. It was no surprise that he led the team in scoring, rebounds and assists. Tega’s quickness, intensity and competitiveness makes him an outstanding defender. He is an outstanding student/athlete who has a great future ahead of him. Tega excels on the court, in the classroom and is a complete team player!

Isaiah Pemberton is an athletic combo guard who prides himself on defense and has a versatile offensive game. He is assigned the oppositions best perimeter player game in and game out. Isaiah is an exceptional finisher at the rim and has the ability to stretch the defense with his 3 point shooting. He leads by example, will be the program’s marquis player for the next two years and has the potential to play after high school.

Elijah Fisher is a talented competitor who brings an intense attitude to every game that he plays. Elijah is the #1 rated player in the class of 2023, and he tries to prove it each time that he steps on the court. Elijah's active hands, quick feet, and great leaping ability make him one of the most dominant defenders in his grade. He is nearly unstoppable with the ball in transition, whether he is rising in the air for a dunk or finishing in a variety of different ways. Elijah's potential is sky high.

Thomas Matsell has been both our vocal as well as leader by example since coming into grade 9. He is our best all around athlete, winning the grade 9 athlete of the year having played multiple sports. As a basketball player he can play at this age level all 5 positions. He can attack face up or play back to the basket. He has led the team for 2 years in rebounding showing his work ethic and this year led the team in scoring. Thomas averaged 15+ points per game and 9+ rebounds helping the team to a 31-3 season record. .

Devante Campbell ihas been a leader on and off the court this year. He continues to work hard on his game, but more importantly, his academics. He is very explosive to the basket and continues to work on his perimeter game. Defensively, he is a lock down defender. Very good rebounder. And more importantly, shares the ball. Devante has a tremendous future ahead of him.

2nd Team NCAA All-Stars

Jayden Grange  is a talented player who can do it all on both ends of the floor.  He is an excellent shooter who can also get to the rim to score.  He can play and defend at every position on the floor.  He was a team captain and leader who had to play through a lot of adversity this season but always gave his best for the team regardless of circumstances.  He is a fine student who is an example to all student-athletes.  Watch out, he will be a name you will hear from in the future!

Jaden Langley-Thomas is a floor general in every sense of the word. His leadership, competitive spirit, and ability to make plays for himself and teammates stands out amongst his peers. Defensively, his strength and quickenss makes him a tough, physical presence on the perimeter. Offensively, Jaden is one of the best in his class at getting to the rim and finishing with contact. He has really improved his 3-point shooting over the past season, which makes him a dynamic scorer in every game. Jaden has a bright future if he continues to improve at his current rate.

Raeshaun Ambris is a hard-driving, pass first point guard with an adept passing ability. He will frequently deliver the ball to teammates who themselves don’t realize they are open. Raeshaun is a fierce competitor who demands a lot of his teammates and possesses an indomitable never-say-die attitude.

J. Scott is... .

Joshua Ens is a quiet but effective leader.  He gives his all every time he steps on the court - doesn't matter if it is a game or a practice or a pick-up game.  He averaged a double - double in points and rebounds throughout the season and was a big reason for the overall success of his  this year - 25 and 5 record - League and Zone Champions and Regional Finalists.  He was named team MVP for the past  years and the Senior team is looking forward to his presence next year.  Along with being a great basketball player, Josh is an A student and great role model for all student/athletes at the school.
